VACCINATION CLINICS - 

Flu and Covid Vaccine Clinics are now being offered at the following times and locations:

Belfast (Westminster Avenue) Pharmacy on Fridays between 10am and 5pm.

Newtownards; no availability as yet.

Templepatrick; no availability as yet.

Eligible Cohorts are outlined below;

Covid eligible cohorts

• Aged 65 and over
• 18-65 who are at clinical risk, this will be confirmed by evidence supplied by patient such as GP letter, hospital letter or medication.
• Immunosuppressed patients and their household contacts, again evidence to be by correspondence from GP.
• Frontline health and social care staff
• Pregnant woman
• Carers, as per green book definition.

Flu eligible cohorts

• those aged 65 years and over (including those aged 65 by 31 March 2024)
• those aged 18 years to 64 years in a clinical at-risk group (as defined in Table 19.4 (Flu) of the Green Book)
• residents and staff in RQIA registered care homes
• immunosuppressed (as defined in Table 19.4 (Flu) of the Green Book) and close contacts of immunocompromised individuals 
• carers
• pregnant women
• frontline Health & Social Care Workers (HSCWs)
