McKay Pharmacy, together with our online business, Life & Looks, is currently recruiting for an apprenticeship position in Customer Service. This role would be ideal for candidates interested in learning more about how to work in a customer-facing role. The role allows you the opportunity to develop your skills within a customer-facing environment, learning the principles of customer service, service partnerships, monitoring the quality of customer service feedback, managing team performance, and learning team leadership skills. In addition, you will complete a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service, helping you to achieve a qualification to help with your future career.
It is a 1 year qualification, and the apprenticeship will provide you with funding for the qualification, as well as paid employment. The qualification will be based upon external providers attending the workplace to support you through the qualification, as well as working approximately 21–30 hours per week within the business. Successful candidates will also receive in-house guidance and support to help them to develop their knowledge and understanding of the industry and to grow their own base of skills.
Due to the nature of our funding, and the relevant legislation, the apprenticeships are only available to individuals aged between 16 and 24 years of age.
Criteria: Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, to include Maths and English(Essential Skills training can be undertaken if grades are below C in Maths and English)

Willingness to help and assist customers to ensure excellent customer service
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Eager and willing to learn and develop skills and experience
Desirable Criteria: Previous relevant experience
